Hayden Shapes Hypto Krypto 5’4” X 19 1/2” X 2 1/4” 26.2L

A friend of mine let me tried his HS Hypto Krypto 5’8” couple times, and it was just last week that I was convinced this is a good board for me. I found this board on OfferUp couple days ago and decided to drive up to Santa Barbara to pick it up for $300.

Nicely maintained and no dents or what not. So far, I surfed on it twice at this moment and am still getting used to this a lot shorter board compared to what I had, Al Merrick 5’8” Biscuit. Very light and fun board to surf with.

According to HS’ website, it says,

“The Hypto Krypto is a balance of tradition and modern performance. Suited to the elite level surfer to the everyday surfer, it is often referred to as the ‘one board quiver’ for its versatility across all types of surf conditions – from small 1-3 ft beach breaks, to barrels of up to 8ft.”

And, I can totally see that this board covering small to large waves. I found my new best friend to take anytime and anywhere, pretty much.
